As Max begins driving out of the city, Ben and Gwen quarrel this way and that about stalling out with one another on a 3-month excursion. It turns out to be clear they have no aim of getting along. The RV shows up at their first objective: a camping area in Yosemite, where Ben and Gwen discover that Max intends to take them on a flavor ride that incorporates eating food sources like mealworms and sheep's tongue - the two rapidly accommodate to consent to stay away from their granddad's cooking no matter what.
Back in space, the spaceship's fight proceeds. Vilgax orders his Drones to board the adversary's boat, which lets out a shockingly strong impact, obliterating the control room and immersing Vilgax in a blazing blast, seriously injuring him. In counter, his boat obliterates the more modest boat with a monster impact, yet not before it's ready to discard a unit that tumbles to the Earth beneath.
To move away from Gwen, Ben takes a walk alone in the forest; he stops to see a falling star. The "star" is really the unit discarded from the spaceship. It contorts its direction and points ideal for Ben, who scarcely figures out how to get away from it crashing down on him. Ben gets up and takes a gander at the accident site before him. The ground under his feet disintegrate, and he falls into the pit. Eye to eye with Ben, the unit opens without anyone else, uncovering a gleaming green gadget that appears as though a watch (its name later uncovered to be "the Omnitrix"). Ben gradually goes after it, yet the watch abruptly jumps up and hooks itself onto his wrist. Ben is alarmed, thrashing it around, attempting to get it off, yet in the long run tumbles to his knees and starts bobbling with it. The faceplate of the watch springs up and shows an outline. Thinking this is cool, he gradually pushes the faceplate back down. His body quickly begins changing, changing into a being made of fire and rock, later named Heatblast. Here, Ben shouts and goes around in a frenzy, scared to see himself ablaze, yet before long quiets down as he understands that he isn't in any torment. He chooses to test this new body, sending off fireballs from his hands at the trees around him. After a short time, he coincidentally sets different trees ablaze, what begin spreading to the entire backwoods.
Gwen and Max notice the smoke from the camping area. Thinking Ben caused it and is at serious risk, the two of them get a douser each and run into the woods. Gwen coincidentally finds Heatblast; she quickly shouts and pummels him with the quencher. As she advises him to remain down, Heatblast makes a little fire on her foot and chuckles as she panickedly puts it out. As she prepares to hit him once more, he conceitedly calls her a dweeb, causing her to understand it's Ben. Max rapidly shows up, additionally paralyzed at seeing Ben. Gwen raises the timberland fire around them and what to do; Max gets the plan to light a subsequent fire and let it consume into the old fire, putting each other out. Gwen and Max escape, and Heatblast lights a second fire in an unburned region. When the recreation area officer arrives, the vast majority of the backwoods is annihilated, yet totally stifled.
Back up on the enormous spaceship, Vilgax's body is destroyed, both of his legs and his right arm missing and depending in a coma in a huge tank. However cognizant, he learns of the Omnitrix's tumbling to Earth, and sends a robot of his to recover it. In the interim, Heatblast tells his story to Max at the campground. Gwen inquires as to whether he believes that Ben will remain as this "beast" everlastingly, to which Max harshly amends her to "outsider". Interfering with them, the Omnitrix on Heatblast begins signaling and a blaze of red light blasts out. As Gwen and Max change their eyes, Ben has returned to ordinary! Max tells Ben not to play around with the watch, as he goes to find a few solutions at the accident site. As he leaves, we see Vilgax's robot contact rational, obliterating the unit and shooting two more modest flying robots from its shoulders.
Ignoring his Grandpa's requests (who's presently gone over the obliterated case), Ben chooses to take a stab at utilizing the Omnitrix once more. Gwen watches on as he changes into a major orange canine like outsider, later named Wildmutt. Gwen noticed that he doesn't have any eyes and endeavors to wack his legs with a branch. Nonetheless, Wildmutt's elevated faculties identify her methodology and he scrambles off into the forrest, with Gwen trailing not too far behind. While roosted on a tree appendage, he detects two robots close by. He evades them as they fire laser impacts at him, in the long run amazing one and making it crash. As he turns around into Ben, a subsequent robot gets him in its sights. Gwen shows up and beats on the robot with a digging tool, obliterating it and saving Ben. With the triplet getting back to the RV, Max addresses Ben for abusing the Omnitrix yet settles on the choice that in the event that it won't fall off his wrist, he'll assist his grandson with figuring out how to utilize it. A call unexpectedly gets through the RV's dispatch radio, individuals on the opposite end scared and enduring an onslaught by a robot. Realizing the robot should be after the watch, Ben acknowledges he can save those individuals by utilizing the watch to turn into a saint. A genuine legend.
Before they show up at the scene, Ben gets the OK from Max to change once more, this time into a precious stone covered outsider, later named Diamondhead. Diamondhead starts to lead the pack, provoking the goliath robot drone while Max and Gwen get individuals to somewhere safe and secure. The robot checks him, seeing the Omnitrix image on his chest, and starts assaulting him by shooting a laser from its hand. As Diamondhead gets up, he understands he is sturdier and "more honed" than he looks. He hasn't figured out how to harm the robot, notwithstanding, as it pins him to the ground and tosses him around the obliterated spot. In the disarray, Diamondhead saves Gwen from a falling tree (making them 'even') and - prior to being impacted back by it-figures out how to stop the robot's laser for a couple of moments. Acknowledging he can mirror the shafts with his glasslike body, he spurs the robot into shooting him squarely in the chest. Diamondhead parts the pillar with his hands and steers one split into the robot's middle, making it detonate. Max nearly cheers with Ben's name, yet slices himself off to allude to him as "jewel head fellow". After an abnormal little festival, Diamondhead and the two get away from the befuddled residents. In space, Vilgax is informed that his robots have fizzled; he pledges to annihilate whoever has gotten the Omnitrix far from him.
The next morning, Max and Gwen pack up the campsite, wondering where Ben is. He suddenly shows up as a velociraptor-like frictionless speedster alien, later dubbed XLR8. They ask where he ran off to, to which he responds he needed to run an errand before continuing the summer road trip. Back in Bellwood, Cash and J.T. find themselves hung up on a tree by their underwear, unsure of how they came to be there.
