He is the third Marvel character to wear the personality of Ghost Rider, after Johnny Blaze (the principal heavenly Ghost Rider and sibling to Danny) and the Western legend known as the Phantom Rider, who involved the name in 1967.
Danny Ketch/Ghost Rider showed up in the Fantastic Four enlivened series episode "When Calls Galactus", voiced by Richard Grieco. He helps the Fantastic Four and Thor in their battle against Galactus by utilizing the Penance Stare
